Who needs enemies when you have McCarthy and lilly-livered Republicans. Patriots understand Steve King.

Tim Scott is on Twitter gloating about bringing King down. He loves to call conservatives racist. He grins that gummy smile and feels real good about it but I’ve never heard him admonish the Democrats. Just ..😡... Scott is reveling in his Black Privilege Of casting down White Republicans. Scott has ruled a conservative nominee on the 9th circuit (9th!) “Racially Insensitive” and derailed the confirmation!! Scott ruled DJT “Racially Insensitive” after Charlottesville—not real successful there. It’s like Scott wants mccain’s old job of being the thin-skinned Martyr of the Senate.

Steve King may be toast, wrongfully.

But, there is a solution to these kinds of ‘happenings’. I mean, there is a solution to saying the ‘wrong thing’ at the ‘wrong time’ to the ‘wrong people’. Mostly, the ‘wrong people’.

And, there is no choice but to avoid these people, no matter what.

The people are the people in the NY Times and Wash Post and CNN and MSNBC, and all the other rabidly left-wing media whose sole purpose is to bring down Trump and ALL republicans. These media people are not reporters anymore and they’re biased to the extreme. Such people need to be avoided at all cost. The NY Times, for example, stopped being a newspaper and they stopped reporting the truth a long time ago, especially regarding anything political. The NY Times is a tool for liberals and so are CNN and MSNBC and the rest of the liberal media. Why the heck grant them any interviews? Why even talk to them. They are just the same as talking to a Nancy Pelosi or a Chuck Schumer or a Maxine Waters. Nothing to be gained by talking to them. Nothing to be gained by pretending that they report factually. They don’t. They exist to eliminate their opposition and the opposition of the democratic/socialist/communist parties.

And yet Peter King (R-NY) was allowed to be the Chairman of Homeland Security, even though he was an active and vocal supporter of the terrorist IRA in the 70’s and 80’s.

You can always count on the GOP circular firing squad to do the rats’ work for them.

We mustn’t forget the ‘40 years the Rs ‘spent in the desert’’ when they didn’t have to attend meetings (shut out of most of them), weren’t even a faint voice in the wilderness, all that was required of them was to ‘kiss babies’ and raise money as the Ds were running EVERYTHING...then along came Newt ... the newbies were fine but the old timers ‘missed’ the days of no responsibility, all they had to do was stand up and say something anti D, then go back to whatever they were doing.

If the Ds -in the minority -were after something and all the Rs ‘went home’ or on a junket’ WITH a D PRES etc ...the Ds would have opened the house and passed most anything they wanted....

The Rs won’t do something like that because it isn’t/wasn’t fair....

Disgusting...

King made a bad decision to be interviewed by the New York Times, he made a terrible decision not to record the interview, and he made a garbled statement in the interview that can easily be interpreted as praise for white supremacism.

His Republican colleagues don't want to be bothered with trying to explain again and again why King is not a Nazi, and why they don't support Nazism. It is easier to just shove King under the bus. That is unfair to King, since he is obviously guilty only of misspeaking, not guilty of supporting white supremacism. It is, however, a practical solution to the problem that King's gaffe created.

King might have had a brief period immediately after the interview appeard to respond by taking full responsibility for what he said, while specifically and forcefully rejecting his own words. "Here is exactly what is wrong with what I said." He had to provide a plausible reason for his speaking in error. Exhaustion, medication, something. Even that might not have been enough.

If you start scoring points for the opposing team, you probably won't be on the field for long, even if you are a star player like Steve King.

Over COMPLETE LIE by NY Times

What "complete lie"?

What did the Times say King said that he now denies saying?

This is what happens when your Enemy controls the flow of information to the Public.

Republicans are in survival mode, fearing anything and everything they do or say will be twisted into Evil Incarnate.

Newspapers, Media, Entertainment and Education are nothing but Left Wing Propaganda tools.

Yeah, say what you will about Pelosi - she's twice the man Kevin McCarthy is. Same goes for most of the GOP - gutless, sackless wonders.

Dems never fold, never cave, never recuse, resign, apologize. They never throw their own to the wolves. The close ranks. They protect each other.

God, I'm so sick and tired of timid pussies representing GOP leadership.

He didn’t say what the times said. That’s the problem.

This is just insane, and shows how brain dead so many people in high level positions in the media and politics are.

Many here on FR are accepting the premise as well, there is no way to defend anyone or anything if you first accept a false premise. That’s why they do that. I suspect that’s why the Bible has a Commandment against it, not that I’m much of a churchgoer mind you. If it ain’t yours, don’t take it, and if it ain’t true, don’t say it, has served me pretty well. Accepting that most Pols are basically POS shit took a little longer to recognize. I hope they die in a fire.

A lesson for all Republicans; Do not give interviews to New York Times, CNN, MSNBC, Washington Post, etc. reporters. They are not your friends and cannot be trusted to report accurately.

What was he thinking in the first place?

Neither did Phil Robertson say what was reported.
Neither did Dan Cathy say what was reported on him.
President Trump has not said what was reported.
And the list goes on.

I despise the Republican party.

The Party of Lincoln is truly dead and gone. What a grotesque collection of sniveling careerists has completed a hostile takeover of it.

.....”It’s going to get much worse”....

It can do no other unfortunately. The left, GopE, Global Elites will never concede their power without fighting against those who oppose their ideologies and agenda for our nation to transition to a socialist nation without borders.... and the entire S. American's flooding into our nation.
