For the Republicans, it's because they support open borders but they don't want to vote that way because their voters will walk away from them.
What makes you think the Repubs in Congress don’t want funding for border security?
The Dems will refuse to pass a bill with border security $ even if it means they strangle to death on their own bile.
Meanwhile, every single day, horrible crimes continue to happen because of the open border. Jihadis flowing in as well. There’s a lot more at stake than politics and who thinks who looks good or doesn’t.
