Not gonna happen.
Trump is not going to trade DACA for an amount of money that will construct not much more than 160 miles of steel barrier. Realistically 5.7 billion is not going to get him much more than that.
Now, if the trade were for, let’s say. 40 or 50 billion, then maybe a DACA trade would be in the cards. But not for a paltry 5 billion.
I would suggest the $500? fee be, by statute, designated to be used only for the wall. Not citizenship but a green card with an annual renewal fee of $250 plus a fee for updated background checks.
