Whether or not she is intelligent is hard to say at this point.
But, she has been chosen and groomed for a role, and she is executing very well. Millions will rally to the “stupid” things she says.
Look at the Sandy Cortez pages from the Yorktown HS yearbook. She wasn’t stupid then, and she’s not stupid now.

After observing her in action, that is what I have been saying. The German people underestimated and ridiculed Hitler also. History shows the results of that. She will be a force to be reckoned with. How far she will go depends on how far her handlers wish her to go.

Pelosi is well-connected to the Biilionaires' Roundtable and though not especially intelligent nor eloquent, she knows her role and sticks strictly to it. If that group wants ever AOC silenced, she will be silenced - even if the Democrat Left grows as angry with Pelosi as we were with Ryan. They don't seem worried about a further Left third party taking shape - because at heart their base voters are followers and will vote the way they are told.
She is going to be dangerous. George Soros is helping her and the other Socialists in Congress...we need to take out Soros...
The attention this bimbo is getting makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand-up. Being a self taught student of history and with old Evil George’s backing, she could turn out to be as dangerous as the Austrian Corporal that gave us the Third Reich. With the rampant voter fraud this last election included we are not very far from a very bad ending for our once great Republic.
People focus on AOC’s stupidity. In leftist politics, intelligence doesn’t matter; energy matters. People get caught up in the energy and a personality cult is formed. She is everywhere, yakking, laughing, smiling, beaming. Lib voters don’t care and don’t know her policies or intelligence; they are charmed by her charm. That is the danger.
Yes, that is the very hallmark of the consummate politician, isn’t it? Completely ignore the question, pontificate about what you really want to say, and leave the listeners thinking you did answer the original question.
Her first speech to Congress this week was well done, too. Very smooth, very polished. Not one “uh, er, um, wellll” in it. Obama was falsely portrayed as a brilliant speaker and he was about the worst I’ve ever seen. With good coaching, she will be seen as an effective communicator.
