audio and video too
Crap. I hope I’m not that 1 of 96 then. Kind of more likely than a firearm sneaking out of a gun safe and doing me in. That number sure sounds bad.
Could it be because people at the end of the line are refusing to “die in virtue” (or their families for them)?
No kidding. With a rate that high it’s inevitable someone you know will end up OD’ing.
Or relative.
“...The nations opioid crisis...”
Yet another “crisis”....sort of like the “assault weapon crisis”. Whenever the media/politicians come up with a “crisis” it raises huge red flags. And they are conflating legitimate medical use of pain killers with street drug criminal use by drug addicts. Their solution? Make it harder for people in dire pain to legitimately get prescription relief.
People believe “factoids” without verification.
The human heart NEEDS magnesium in order to make it beat. That is why people are dying from opioids. It stops their hearts.
Their solution? Make it harder for people in dire pain to legitimately get prescription relief.
I saw the report out of Seattle that their solution is to hand out Narcon syringes to family and friends of opioid addicts so the family and friends can bring the addict back to life when they overdose.
[[And they are conflating legitimate medical use of pain killers with street drug criminal use by drug addicts.]]
They are disingenuously claiming that ‘most’ opioid addicts began with legal prescriptions- While some did- most drug addicts began with illegal drugs, not legal ones-
[[Their solution? Make it harder for people in dire pain to legitimately get prescription relief.]]
Exactly- they are hell bent on doing away with the m ost effective pain control substance we have- pretty soon it’s going to be like having surgery o n the field during war when no pain meds are available
*Unless I get an overdose while being operated on in a hospital, and then I have a .06% chance of being killed by medical malpractice.
I find this unbelievable. if true, then we DO have a national crisis and The Wall should be built today by the military until Congress gets their act together.
3.4 million Americans will die from an opioid overdose this year? What?
Guarantee it won’t be me.
Lots of stupid out there.
There was a school of thought against morphine use on the WW2 battlefields because their argument went...it might cause addiction. The gall! Same mind set now. I had one prolonged hospital stay hooked up to a self administered morphine pump. I hate to think what would have happened to somebody who tried to take it away. And I didn’t get addicted!
The one in 96 is an example of choosing a way to make something look worse than it is. In actual fact, the vast majority of these opioid overdoses are from street drugs, not drugs prescribed to and used by pain sufferers.
Someone explain to me the use of “accidental” please.
What’s the Red/Blue numbers and how will that affect Kamala’s run?
