Committed Socialist and Democrat Party mouthpiece Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) went off on the American capitalist system on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.
Ocasio Cortez has warped ideas on the success of Socialism. A trip to Venezuela is warranted for this one.
During her talk with The Atlantic’s Ta-Nehisi Coates Ocasio-Cortez trashed the US system despite its unprecedented success in world history. Completely blind to history and the world around her Ocasio-Cortez continues to promote Marxist ideology. This is the modern day Democrat Party. Ocasio-Cortez likes to wrap up her conceit and ignorance as compassion.
FOX News reported:
When asked whether “a world that allows for billionaires” is “a moral outcome,” Ocasio-Cortez responded: “No it’s not. It’s not.”
She then said that she does not believe all billionaires “like Bill Gates, for example, or Warren Buffett are immoral people.”
“I’m not saying that, but I do think a system that allows billionaires to exist when there are parts of Alabama where people are still getting ringworm because they don’t have access to public health is wrong,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

“I think that it’s wrong that a vast majority of the country does not make a living great wage. I think it’s wrong that you can work 100 hours and not feed your kids. I think it’s wrong that corporations like Walmart and Amazon can get paid.”

The Upper and Middle classes do not exist, except in societies where individuals have the freedom to acquire wealth. Confiscating wealth from individuals and giving it to the people who control government is like going back to the Feudal System.
Knowing the difference between the government having the money, and the people who control the government having the money is a distinction the progressives don't want you to know.
Is she willing to take all their money from gates, bezos, zuckerberg, dorsey, systrom and all the other leftist billionaires? After all they did for the Dems?
As much as I despise them, their brains and efforts have increased prosperity for millions.
I actually would AGREE WITH HER if there were a few more words added:

And that does seem like what the super-rich are engaged in doing, particularly the Silicon Valley types. First of all, people in Alabama DO have “access” to “public health”.
In order for “public health” to remediate what ails poor people, all across this land, you have to make public health officials dictators. They will have to control what poor people eat, where they go and how they get there, how they party, who they f***, and all the other variables that cause their terrible heath outcomes.
And she still hasn’t proposed a confiscatory wealth tax.
People, she’s just blowing smoke up yer butts...
So it’s the MONEY she’s upset about?
So I wonder if that means that she’d support exempting all non fungible asstets from things like inheritance taxes?
