I agree a border wall must include various sensor, weapon, and communication technology, but must absolutely have a robust physical component.

I think it will be fascinating (and illustrative to our points here as conservatives) to see how complaints, crime, and illegal traffic go up at unprotected areas as the border wall pieces are built and funnel illegals into other areas.

I regret the rise in crime that will be inevitable in places that the illegals get funneled into, but I think we have to go through that phase.

It might even have an overall saluatory effect on getting other pieces built as those newly affected areas may push for their own section of the wall to be built.
