He wouldn’t resign over murdering babies, so he has to think not that an old racist picture horsing around is no big deal. Here’s hoping he holds on. How wonderful would it be if the Democrat nominee next year can’t campaign with the Democrat governor of Virginia? Awkward!

That’s what gets me. I heard a brief snippet of his news conference and he referred to the pictures as ‘horrific’. Killing a newborn, something that should be discussed ‘civilly’; picture in blackface, ‘horrific’. I can understand a black person being offended by such a picture, but I can’t imagine it ruining any black person’s day.

Of course should he resign, he’ll be replaced by a Lt. Gov. who promised to oppose President Trump, so he’s got that going for him (as well as the fact that he is black).
