I recall early in 2008 someone telling me there was NO WAY a person with the name "Barack Hussein Obama" would be elected President of the United States. And I believed him.

So many of us said the same thing about an empty suit who gave the keynote at the 2004 DNC Convention and then announced February 10, 2007. At least he was young then.
