Baseball bats or vampire bats?
Bats as in the shortened form of the word “Battle Axe”.
My “Dictionary Of Smart Ass” clearly defines “Battle Axe” as,
“An old, loud mouthed, cranky woman like Hillary Clinton or Joy Behar.”
