CNN Lets Dem Guest Misinform on New Gun Law Push

On Friday's New Day show, CNN co-host John Berman allowed Georgia Democratic Congresswoman Lucy McBath to mislead viewers on a proposed new gun law being considered in Congress as she claimed it would require background checks when purchasing from "licensed" gun dealers.

In reality, licensed gun dealers are already required to conduct background checks, and the purpose of the new law is to require private sellers who are unlicensed to also conduct such checks.

Berman also brought up the issue of President Donald Trump declaring a national emergency to justify building more border security barriers than Congress will authorize as the CNN host wondered if the congresswoman would support a move to declare a "national emergency" on the issue of gun violence.

Outright misinformation, lies, obsfucation..... As long as it furthers their agenda, nothing matters. The new gov steve 'sissiepants' in NV just signed SB 143 which corrects the screw up on the part of the antis from 2 years ago and made all sorts of wild claims about the wonders of UBC. See below for the plethora of BS:

Good afternoon, everyone, and thank you all for being here for this historic occasion for our families and our state. There are so many people to thank, without whom today would not be possible. I want to start by thanking Majority Leader Atkinson, Speaker Frierson, and all those in the Legislature who helped get this bill to my desk. I want to thank the constitutional officers who joined me in testifying at Tuesday’s hearing in an effort to ensure the will of the voters is finally implemented with this law on the books. I also want to thank the volunteers, activists, moms, dads, students, educators, and organizations across the state who have spent years advocating for policies to address gun violence. We owe today’s victory to you – without your steady activism and demand for our state to do better, we could not be here today. And, most importantly, I want to thank the survivors of gun violence who, over the last several years and especially this week, have displayed such courage in telling their stories. I cannot begin to fathom the pain you feel as a survivor of gun violence, and I cannot begin to match the bravery you’ve displayed as you turned your sorrow into action. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. The bill I’m about to sign is a long-overdue, common-sense measure that will make Nevada safer and has the power to save lives from gun violence. We have already lost too many lives across the country to guns. With this bill, we are taking an important step to address the nationwide public health crisis that is gun violence, and we are making our children and families safer here at home by making it harder for potentially dangerous individuals to access a firearm. But that’s not all we’re doing today. In addition to being sensible policy, this bill is, in effect, the will of the voters cemented into law. In November 2016, the majority of Nevadans made it clear they wanted us to do more to address gun violence – but for the 829 days since, they’ve been ignored. That finally changes today. To all of you in this room, and to the majority of Nevadans who voted for this in 2016, I’m so happy to tell you that the wait is finally over. So without further ado, it’s my great pleasure and highest honor to sign this bill into law!

The Democrats along with their puppets, the Lame Street Media, will not quit until they succeed in disarming the law abiding citizens. The people will then realize they cannot disarm the criminal element in the country.

McBath doesn’t seem very bright. Perfect for Nasty Nan’s new House of The Hill.

They will have also greatly increased the size of the criminal element in the country.

Whata you know?

New gun grab by the communists and low and behold, another mass shooting.

A cynical sort of guy might look at this and see a pattern.

It’s all bull anyway. Our founders didn’t create the 2A to be contingent on future crime stats or emotional feelings.

There are uncountable left wing liars and a few Main Stream Media outlets who knowingly promote and disperse their lies.

One is as guilty as the other.

I want to see a law that makes it easy for any citizen to sue the hell out of any media outlet, the person speaking or posting for that outlet, or any media organization or media employee who reprints those lies.

If we make it bite them in the ass personally then just maybe they will start printing the truth again.

If you think they are printing, telling, posting, the truth now then you have nothing to lose so lets do this tomorrow.

Is there any lefty out there with balls who will support the mandate of reporting only provable truth?

My bet is no, not a single one.

The sudden increase in shootings under Øbowel was no coincidence. Many of us have thought for many years that these things were likely created and controlled by NGO actors trained in psyops.
