Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez continued to heap praise on fellow freshman Congresswoman Ilhan Omar early Sunday night calling her one of the most effective voices right now.
Rep. Omar, a survivor of war, is one of the most effective voices right now at cutting through the authoritarian foreign policy tendencies of this administration, tweeted Ocasio-Cortez.
She linked back to a post that the Minnesota lawmaker put up earlier in the evening criticizing President Trumps handling of the crisis in Venezuela.
Trump and Elliott Abrams cannot be trusted to tell the truth about whats happening in Venezuela, Omar tweeted, along with a link to a New York Times story questioning the circumstances behind an alleged attack on a Venezuelan relief convoy.
We must continue to question the narratives they provide and promote dialogue instead of intervention, Omar added.
In response, Ocasio-Cortez wrote: She nails it here. You can see why she gets targeted.

John Podesta finds a superstar in New Zealand!
11 March: New Zealand Herald: Former White House adviser John Podesta praises ‘superstar’ Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern
Hillary Clinton’s former presidential campaign manager has labelled Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern a “superstar”.
John Podesta, who was the White House chief of staff to President Bill Clinton and a counsellor to President Barack Obama, told Newstalk ZB’s Heather Du Plessis-Allan that Ardern had given hope to social democrats all around the world...
He said the Democrats would be wise to take a leaf out of Ardern’s book...
Podesta also gave his views on United States President Donald Trump, saying he is “completely unfit and unqualified to be President of the United States”.
He said there is a huge amount of division within politics - and Trump was an example of that.
“You see it with the building of the wall. It’s largely a politics of fear and a politics of racism and add to that his misogyny and it’s a toxic mix.”...
Podesta said the real question was who could successfully prosecute a case against him.
However, when asked whether trying to prosecute Trump was the wrong strategy, he said the Democrats were in a tricky position, but they could not ignore criminal acts.
“The Democrats in the House do have some responsibility to make sure the justice system is functional.
“I don’t think people can look the other way from criminal acts.
“His national security adviser, his campaign chairman, his deputy campaign chairman, his senior policy adviser have all pleaded guilty to criminal acts.”...

11 March: Hobart Mercury Australia: Hillary Clintons campaign chair warns NZ about election hacking
The chairman of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign says New Zealand should be very worried about the prospect of election hacking. In a television interview with Newshub, John Podesta warned New Zealands election next year is at serious risk of a major cyber attack by Russia or China. During Ms Clintons presidential campaign, tens of thousands of Mr Podestas emails were hacked by the Russian government, with many believing the release of the emails was a major factor in Ms Clintons loss to Donald Trump.

A communist praising a Muslim. This is the face of the Democrat Party
I think Steve Bannon has been working behind the scenes to get these people elected. They’re the greatest thing for the Republican party since Hillary.
It’s like having a 6 year old in Congress, everything is make believe and reality is completely ignored.
“To get rid of poverty, let’s make everyone rich!”
Like TOTALLY!
Well, AO-C has got something SORT of right...
Ilhan Omar is a strongly polarizing individual, in a way that even Donald Trump cannot be. Omar’s divide is to separate pro-Israel (and pro-American) individuals from the anti-Israel (and anti-American) mob, and come down solidly on the side of the mob.
Donald Trump only divides the world into those who think America is the great shining beacon unto the world, and those who despise all of what America is, and seek its downfall by any means possible. President Trump has clearly come down on the side the would “Make America Great Again”, and once that is accomplished, “Keep America Great”.
Which would seem to put him on the opposite side from Ilhan Omar and AO-C.
May you live in interesting times.
I still say she won by massive voter fraud. I use to live in her district around 15 years ago, and I didn’t know ANYBODY who would have supported her especially Hispanics who know all too well the hell of socialism and communism. I really think she went around and got illegals to vote promising them protection which is why she’s always talking about dismantling ICE etc, but of course the FEC will do nothing about it. That district now has one of the highest concentrations of illegals in the country and you can use that as a prime example of why the left wants wide open borders.
The blind leading the stupid.

A NYC politician praising another politician who is known solely for making ant-semitic remark after anti-semitic remark seems to make little strategic sense. There are lots and lots of jews in NYC, maybe not in her district but I’m guessing her next election won’t be a “came from nowhere and won without spending anything” affair again. This time she’ll have to spend to defend the seat and nobody in the dem power base in NY likes her.
Omar has been in this country for a couple dozen years. Her parents are at fault. Any school teacher she had should be fired. We should not allow newcomers to be in office.
3rd generation or later.

You just know they do blame him and not socialism.
what a slime -trying to throw the spotlight off her recently disclosed financial dealings and onto Omar
they are both noisy birdbrains...
