Just look at pure communism where the state owns everything. You still have a political class where the bureaucrats and administrators that assume the role of aristocracy.
They may have less than capitalist moguls and aristocrats, but comparatively speaking the difference between them and the person on the street is even more stark. Just because the standard of living of everyone is stymied in a system where production is not rewarded doesn’t mean you can ever eliminate disparity and inequity, which are the tools being used to foment resentment for capitalism.

Try swapping your boss for someone with government authority to run your life. You have zero negotiating power with a bureaucrat.
Millennials are miseducated. Need to instruct them that socialism is not only not cool but is a social disaster. It is imperative to mock Sanders, AOC and the Democrats mercilessly.
Seeing that most Demos don’t like corporations, I have always found it odd that they want to turn the US into a single corporation.
