“Now that 1+ $billion has recently been approved for border security, how long will it take to build it?”

Knowing Trump, it will come in on time and within the budget.
My question being that if a large chunk of cash has already been approved for building 200 miles of wall/fence, is it appropriate to be asking for billions more at THIS time. If it will be built in six months, that is one thing, but if it will take 2 or 3 years then not so necessary.
