She’s since deleted the tweet where she contested Politico’s reporting, but Rep. Ilhan Omar raised some Democrats’ eyebrows last week when she said that President Obama and President Trump were essentially cut from the same cloth, citing Obama’s “caging of kids” and his “droning of countries around the world.”
Guerin Hays of Fox News caught up with Omar and asked her if she really believes Obama and Trump are the same:

This kind of talk should wake up a few on the left as to what they have enabled and unleashed. It is not consistent with their own rhetoric, and you have to wonder how they can be so blind as not to notice that.
And this kind of politics does not belong in the Congress of the United States. It goes beyond the usual low bar of insult and hyperbole into areas that any student of history will recognize as dangerous ground for elected representatives.
Clearly this is a person who has not absorbed enough of the culture of the host nation to earn the reward of high office. I can only assume a majority of her voters are bigger idiots than she is.
How long are we going to stand for this Klanswoman in office?
If you include flies, mosquitos, spiders, etc., it must be in the thousands. Always humanely, though. I guess with infidels you don’t even have to do that. Since ISIS burns its captives alive, that’s evident.
