If they had half a brain they’d try to push it for Friday day. It’s lent and NYC is full of Catholics. But no. They hate religion so much that they would cut off their noses to spite their commie faces.
Think I’ll move back my corned beef St Patrick’s Day feast to Monday.
In New Orleans, Monday is traditionally red beans & rice & laundry.
You slow-cook the beans all day while doing the wash.
There’s a great bar/ poolhall/ laundromat called Igor’s on St. Charles Ave. You can do your laundry & buy a beer. Plate of beans & rice— free!
