Devin Nunes: No rest until Mueller scope memo released, 'dirty cops' rounded up
Washington Examiner ^ | 24 March 2019 | Daniel Chaitin

Rep. Devin Nunes isn't celebrating special counsel Robert Mueller's submission of his final report to the Justice Department.

Calling for full transparency, the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee amplified his demand to see the scope memo for the years-long investigation, going further than Democrats calling for the release of the full Mueller report for the public to see.

"I don't think Republicans or any American should be celebrating anything to do with Mueller. Okay? It's fine. He's not going to indict anymore people. There are a whole bunch of indictments that are awful. What happened to these people is terrible," Nunes, R-Calif, said Saturday evening on Fox News. "We need to see the origins of this investigation. We don't even know what Robert Mueller was supposed to be looking at."

The classified scope memorandum was issued by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein in August 2017, months after he appointed Mueller to lead the Russia investigation without citing a crime. A heavily redacted version of the August memo has already been released to the public. Allies of President Trump, including Nunes, have called for full disclosure of that memo, as well as of documents related to investigatory efforts looking into Trump's inner circle, including FISA warrants that targeted onetime campaign aide Carter Page.

Mueller delivered his report to Attorney General William Barr on Friday, concluding his 22-month-long investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election and possible collusion between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin. Barr told congressional leaders in a letter he may be able to provide them with the special counsel’s “principal conclusions” as early as this weekend.

The investigation led to the indictments of 34 people and three Russian companies, including six individuals close to Trump such as former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, but none...

Beware the justice department blacking out portions of the report to protect themselves or the FBI. This would be the biggest crime.

Why did Barr bring back Rosenstein who never showed up to Congress and gave them redacted docs, even in closed session.

Rosenstein signed the 4 th Fisa warrant extension based on the HRC/DNC/McCain dossier, also known as the PeePee Dossier. Paid for by Dems from Russian sources.

Rosenstein is covering up his own crimes.

Barr simply isn’t up to speed on this hoax

Rosenstein might be controlled by the good guys now. Why would he want to bring documents to Congress if he knew they were to be leaked by Adam Schitt?

“Beware the justice department blacking out portions of the report to protect themselves or the FBI. This would be the biggest crime.”

This is the other end of wanting to see lots of the report. dems want to try and sqeeze something from their failed attempt to battle Trump. Conservatives would like the exposed corruption of the obuma administration, the dims, the deep state, and MEDIA, and follow up with penalties and prosecutions.

With any luck that would be the dims nightmare result of the exposure of muller’s report. Today’s dim party not only shoots themselves in the foot at every opportunity, they use a bazooka.

We need to see the origins of this investigation.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You’re going to have to look all the way back to Usurpation Day, January 20, 2009 when BOTH parties conspired to violate the Constitution and install an ineligible usurper.
That made all these other crimes possible.
There should never have been an O administration.
Obama was born a British subject and Kenyan national.
Not a natural born citizen.
And that is the reason nothing will come of any of this, because both parties participated in violating the Constitution.
Traitors are not dirty cops. Dirty cops are dirty cops and traitors are traitors.
Democratic party members involved in sedition and treason are not performing political activity.
Words mean something to real USAians. We do recognize and do not participate in double-speak. Double-speak hides lies and evil intent.
I wonder if the release is all or nothing at all. Here' the applicable statute. Seems like too many unknowns about what can and can't.
(c) The Attorney General may determine that public release of these reports would be in the public interest, to the extent that release would comply with applicable legal restrictions.
All other releases of information by any Department of Justice employee, including the Special Counsel and staff, concerning matters handled by Special Counsels shall be governed by the generally applicable Departmental guidelines concerning public comment with respect to any criminal investigation,
and relevant law.
“Or rosenwiezel is a white hat, which I don’t believe for a second.”
Rosenweasel is there for his get out of jail free card. He could be indicted for signing off on the FISA warrants knowing full well it was based on a non-verified document. We already know this and what Rosenweasel did is a federal crime. It’s time for him to play snitch and list all the crimes that his cabal committed with documented evidence so indictments can start.
Unfortunately we are a nation who “has to have it now.” This is part of a long game that has to be played to perfection so the media has no other choice then to report it.
As a final thought, since we have some precedent stemming from this investigation, there is no reason at this time not to arrest anyone who lied to congress or the FBI. They committed a crime and they need to be brought to justice for it. And do to them exactly what was done to Manafort.
Since Mueller has completed his investigation and report, what possible excuse is there for not releasing Rosenstein’s “scope” memo(s) in unredacted form?
Same reason we can’t release the FISA warrants.
What’s good for the goose...
On the flip side, not showing all them Left-wing opinions that Trump must be dirty, but they just can’t nail it down blurbs has a useful and legal purpose...the Dems are howling for full disclosure because they know that legal precedent of not airing the “hope there’s some dirty laundry” charges taken before Grand Juries and in other memos only serves to disparage those who were never found to have done anything wrong.
