When Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau took office in late 2015, he was a political golden boy who seemed destined to build on the legend of his father, who led the country for more than 15 years.
But six months ahead of an October election, polls suggest the 47-year-old politician with the broad smile and a penchant for colorful socks could become the first prime minister to lose power after a single majority mandate since the 1930s.
Trudeau is mired in a relentless scandal over alleged interference in a corporate corruption case that has led to the resignations of two Cabinet members, his top advisor and the head of the federal civil service. [ ]
If an election were held now, the Conservatives would win 34.9 percent of the vote, the Liberals 32.8 percent and the left-leaning New Democratic Party 16.6 percent. The poll suggests the result would be deadlock or a fragile minority government.

As long as Trudeau sinks somewhere below the soles of his shoes i’ll be good.
Trudeau is an embarrassment to Canada!
Truth be told a whole lot more Canadians need to get their heads out of their asses!
What hes accused of doing is nothing compared to the BS we put up with every day.
So Canadians are realizing that pretty boy is not good for Canada!
Trudeau’ papa was a dumb ass socialist and his mom was a rock n roll groupie whore.
Good. Hes really despicable, but he said all the right things which in Canadas ultra politically climate, was all it took for too many voters to to vote for him. This is the man who condescendingly corrected a woman when she said chairman while asking him a question, upon which he chided her and said, We say chairperson. As long as he spouts the right buzzwords, certain shallow thinking people just ate it up.
Because creepy creeping eyebrows.....
If he’s the best conservatives can find, Canada is lost.
He’s Canada’s first ‘feminist’ Prime Minister... His Justice minister, a female indigenous Queen’s council lawyer quit her job because Trudeau hounded her to go easy on one of his corporate donors being prosecuted for bribery. Her friend a medical doctor in charge of the Treasury Board quit in support of her friend and Celina Caesar-Chavannes a black MP, quit the Liberal party in disgust over Trudeau’s behavior... So much for feminism.
That’s his problem with being a true ‘feminist’...
Like all men, when Trudeau looks at woman he looks for and sees his mother...
When I look at woman, I see strong independent, loving and loyal woman who remind me of my mother.
When Trudeau looks at woman he sees two timing, druggies with bipolar disorders who screw anything on two legs. And he treats them like his dad treated his mother... Badly.
Trudeau is a Liberal not Conservative.
HOW SWEET IT IS
Sadly Trudeau IS Canada. A recent poll showed liberal Canadians at 50% of the populace, only 30% conservative. The only way a barely conservative party can win is when Liberals keep screwing up with scandals like these.
Yes Scheer is not much of anything, and at one time that would have bothered me. But I now realize Canada is simply a liberal nation. Wish it wasn’t so.
What poll was that?
A Macleans poll. Showed over the last 20 years conservatives being a consistent 30% or so, but moderates moving 40% that were liberals up to 50%.
Take it with a grain of salt. The same outfit is screaming about “Liberals bleeding support all over the place” right now in their headlines.
This is a great article detailing Trudeau's debacle:

Recent polls show the liberals in the low 20's and the conservatives in the high 30's. Read the comments in the above article. I could not find more than one comment defending Trudeau. This latest lawsuit gambit shows Trudeau is adrift and does not have a clue on how to right this.
If the election was today, Trudeau and the liberals would be utterly destroyed. The election is in November, I don't see how he recoups.
My family in Canada is a perfect example, they drive me looney every time I try to explain reality to them, I don’t even bother going home to visit anymore as I can get annoyed enough here without going back home to get even more annoyed.
