Jihadis celebrated the destruction of large parts of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris in a devastating fire on April 15, 2019. Reactions by jihadis on social media refer to the cathedral as a symbol of Christianity and a major point of origin for the Crusades. Several describe the fire as punishment for various crimes attributed to France or to Christians in general, such as France's military intervention in Muslim countries or the mosque massacres in New Zealand. Some jihadis, including leading figures, view the incident as a good omen heralding calamities for the West and the global order.

The optimistic view would be that from the ashes a new or renewed faith will emerge for Christian civilization. A Phoenix will arise from the fire of Notre Dame in the form of an appreciation of the values and accomplishments of the West. This will be spearhead by people like Jordan Peterson, Donald Trump and new apologists that will fight against the encroachments of radical Islam and Marxism in both Europe and America. New heroes are needed to heed the call to reclaim the treasures of the past and press against the barbarians already within the shining City on the Hill. The symbolism connotes an epic battle that can be fought and won by a renewed spirit fully aware of what is at stake and its duty to a free people. History will tell...

This should be a wake up call of thousands of others but it won’t be. The symbolism of this event should wake France up but it will be forgotten after the Church is rebuilt.
And yet these savages still want to live in white,
Christian nations with all of these coming "calamities."
The French had better take good care of the other famous cathedral — Sacre Couere (sorry for misspelling).

Just a minor fire at the Dome of the Rock. Remember forty five years or so ago when some religious fanatic tried to bring in the End Times by setting fire to the wrong mosque there?

No. It wasn’t.
A small outbuilding (built by Christians IIRC in the middle ages) had a small fire that was quickly extinguished.
Made for a great ‘Us TOO!’ moment and was never in danger of burning their mosque.
And France should drop one of their nukes on mecca at the height of ramadan.
