I don’t understand your comment. Everything we know about life on earth proves evolution. What we don’t know is how did the first bit of life come to exist and thus begin evolving?

Methane is NOT any indication of life in this instance, and no one is claiming it is (except in crude jokes).
It is, however, a potential tremendous resource if we can figure out how to wisely use it. THAT, and curiosity about how the natural processes behind such a formation might work, is what the discussion should be about.
