Five years ago I would have agreed with your assessment.
From David, Moses(who was a heathen idol maker) to Jefferson(Both Thomas and Jeff) Lee, Jackson and all the Confederate who fought for an evil purpose yet were honorable men who laid down their arms to make peace with their brothers.
But the Left will only see this a weakness. They have to be punched in the nose with their own tactics.

No. I do not need to be like them. I do not need to “dethrone” the past by placing all judgement’s of the past, and past figures, in today’s context. I think the better way to fight that is to not do it.
