How is Trump supposed to ‘get someone in jail’?
He’s the President, not the Attorney General. Nor is he a police officer or US Attorney.
AG Barr’s US Attorneys can wait for the multiple grand juries, investigate and indict from here to Kowloon.
But, if Trump is not re-elected in 2020, the resources necessary to continue those prosecutions will be cut off quickly.
It’s naive and childish to keep demanding that criminal cases of unprecedented natures and magnitudes be investigated, charged, prosecuted, and sentenced on your timetables.
Brace yourselves. Absent plea deals; if there are convictions, there will be years of appeals.
No one will be taken out back, lined up against a wall and shot for treason; no matter how satisfying or appropriate that may be.
Yeah, dang it, we are not communist or fascist. This is not Europe or Africa. But at least with the computer graphics technology we have, the government could give us virtual hangings and shootings. Lol.
