I would agree with EXCEPT that the actions against British ships are a reaction to sanctions that are most strongly suggested and supported by the USA. If we are going to provoke the Iranians we are responsible to address their reactions. Larger issues are at stake here, namely denuclearization, by force if necessary and regime change if at all possible
The actions against British ships were in response to the British seizing an Iranian vessel off Gibraltar last week.
