I was stationed in Germany twice. The first thing we learned was the German Police, Polizei, don’t give a damn about your rights. Likely ditto the Italian police which these two losers are now finding to their great disappointment.
My beloved told me of an incident where the German Police caught US military men raping a young girl.
Long story short, the dead US military were delivered to the base they were assigned. Once the situation was explained the Base Commander did not raise any stink. Guess he didn’t want it out that US soldiers were attacking German citizens.
I asked him if it really happened and he said from what he saw over there it wouldn’t have surprised him. Back then they were not worried about being politically correct.
Of course that was decades ago, when the Germans still had a backbone. So sad to see they’ve fallen short...
