Sen. Kamala Harris referred to herself as a “top-tier candidate” and belittled Rep. Tulsi Gabbard’s poll numbers during an interview after Wednesday’s Democratic presidential debate.
“[T]his is going to sound immodest, but I’m obviously a top-tier candidate, and so I did expect that I would be on the stage and take hits tonight, because there are a lot of people that are trying to make the stage for the next debate,” Harris said in an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper shortly after the debate.
“Especially when some people are at zero or 1%, or whatever she might be at. So I did expect that I might take hits tonight,” she continued, making a clear reference to Gabbard.
Harris was miffed that Gabbard called on her to apologize for her record as San Francisco district attorney and California’s attorney general.

Well, she may think she is a top-tier candidate [and even if it is true], but she is changing the subject and avoiding a response to Tulsi Gabbard’s facts about Harris’s record as AG of California.
Basically she’s saying “I don’t have to answer questions from a person of lower caste than myself”.

You know you are in trouble if you have to claim you are good. Your record should speak for itself.
I have been predicting Kamala will be the nominee, but she seems to be working overtime to prove me wrong!

Trump can easily handle Kamala, but apologizing Joe Biden cannot.
All Kamala needs to do is get support among blacks (which so far she has failed to do)—and then Biden is toast.
If Kamala attacks Biden for being a white male (and ignores all the wonky policy stuff) he is dead meat in the Democratic primary.

I think she will be as well....Biden is there just to swing his voters to her later on. It’s still early and much of this is scripted anyway.
