That doesn’t look anything like the guy I saw in the picture going through the door with a gun. But if that is who they want him to be so be it.

As a retired lawyer who’s learned to play the computer writing game, I’ll say it’s an exacting activity, far better than its predecessor, that still takes a lot of application and determination that’s only learned with experience.
The first step is to type in your document as reasonably fast as you can without much attention to detail. Then you run spell check, getting about 80% of the errors out. Then you proof read it on the screen and fix whatever else you see that’s wrong. Then you print it out and proof read the hard copy, correcting whatever errors you see (the change in appearance keeps you from reading the document as you want it to be instead of as it really is) and enter the corrections into the final document. Finally (GASP) you print out the final document.
Learning this process takes time and application beyond the abilithy of most 21 year olds.
Unless you have some inside information, I'll wait for more confirmation. But it is good to know that if the manifesto is legitimate, that the shooter says his motivations aren't related to current political issues:
"My ideology has not changed for several years. My opinions on automation, immigration, and the rest predate Trump and his campaign for president. I putting this here because some people will blame the President or certain presidential candidates for the attack. This is not the case. I know that the media will probably call me a white supremacist anyway and blame Trump's rhetoric. The media is infamous for fake news. Their reaction to this attack will likely just confirm that."
It will be interesting to see what the media has to say.
If the document is actually the manifesto of the shooter then we are seeing yet another individual with some kind of twisted mindset that combines ideas of the left, like radical environmentalism, with fear of future job losses due to automation, and an opposition to immigrants into a basis for violence.
Not Van Spronsen! (That's a name that's easy to remember! ;^) Or DeWayne Craddock, back east. Guessing we don't rememmber Left-wing or minority terrorists, because the establishment media barely covers their crimes...
The sounds like a operation from Chaos. They play the left right game all day and night. Ie Deep State. Only other plausible is a softening of the target (El Paso) with a wag the whitey play before the main attacks (AntiFa).

It looks like to me the Antifa main target was the Border Patrol and government installations in El Paso, but not random civilians at “Wally World.”
