(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch announced today that it filed an Access to Public Records Act (APRA) open records lawsuit against the City of South Bend, Indiana, for records of communications between Mayor Pete Buttigieg’s office related to the creation of a municipal ID card for illegal aliens that was created by La Casa de Amistad, a local not-for-profit corporation (Judicial Watch v. City of South Bend (No. 71C01-1908-Ml-000389)).

On December 16, 2016, the South Bend Tribune reported that, “A nonprofit Latino advocacy group … unveiled a new identification card it hopes will make life easier for undocumented immigrants who live in [South Bend].” La Casa de Amistad Inc. are the creators of this “SB ID.” Mayor Pete Buttigieg reportedly worked “closely with La Casa de Amistad, South Bend’s main Latino outreach center

“...make life easier for undocumented immigrants who live in [South Bend].”

Read that again...

The libturd immigration policy summed up in one phrase.

We are losing this nation if we let them win this...

I was in South Bend recently.

Aside from the downtown entertainment district and the Notre Dame campus, the place pretty much reminded me of Flint, Michigan.

Elected officials all over this country are putting fraudulently documented foreigners above citizens and the rule of law.

And they get re-elected, including the ones wearing R jerseys.

Murkowsky, Hoeven and Rubio were all re-elected after voting for amnesty.

Flimsey Grahamnesty has supported EVERY amnesty attempt since he got in the Senate and will probably be re-elected.

I was actually shocked. It was my first trip to South Bend and the images you always have are the Notre Dame picture postcards.

Full disclosure: I once lived on the outskirts of Flint. I actually felt very sorry for the people there and what had happened to their community.

South Bend is actually an interesting story on how a city fails.

The last republican mayor was Lloyd Allen who retired in 1972. Luckily I went off to college in 1976 never to return to live.

South Bend had a plethora of industry....Bendix, Honeywell, Studebaker, Allied Signal, South Bend Watch Co, South Bend Lathe, South Bend Toy, Obrien Paint, the list was endless. All gone or a shell of what they were.

South bend is now nothing but resteraunts, and service providers. The population in 1960 was 132,500. The population now is 101,00.

Contrast that to Fort Wayne....In 1960 the population was 178,000, today it is 254,000. The town is far more conservative politically than SB and industry flourishes.

Talk about a tale of two cities.

Buttigieg and his Democrat Cohorts (POTUS Candidates) not doing well at the the famed IOWA State Fair...very few supporters...no one cares they are there. Big difference from the “Grand” Trump Helicopter entry and free rides of the 2016 election!!!

I dated a girl who went to Notre Dame back in the mid 1980's and SB resembeled Flint back then, at least outside the Notre Dame campus.

In short: SB is a shithole. Perhaps Mayor Buttplug ought to go back there, fix the problems and then come back and tell us how he did it.
