The same principle applies to a Constitutionally compliant and Second Amendment Red Flag Law that applies to a "White Lie". A "White Lie" is still a lie and a Red Flag Law is still a Red Flag Law.

If our President thinks that pleasing the enemy would gain a re-election, he would be wrong. Us patriots would be the loosers, not just our President. It is time to have intervention from on High.
President Trump supports the Manchin-Toomey bill. That bill would expand background checks to gun shows and internet but NOT private sales and provides an exclusion on family transactions and loans.
The rest of the dems want to make background checks even on private sales.
Listen carefully to the President, because he says he will go along with Mitch McConnell, and the Turtle says he supports Manchin-Toomey. I don’t think the President will go for the dem counter bill.
