In NY, maybe; in most of the country, there is no requirement for inspection/registration/insurance/anything if the vehicle is kept on private property.
Not here-the only selling entity that is required to have vehicles inspected or have license tags are car lots-an individual isn’t required to have any of that stuff to sell a vehicle to anyone who pays the price of the vehicle.-it is a totally private sale-the buyer is responsible for getting the registration, inspection, etc. And that is just how guns need to stay, too when it is a private transaction, no big brother wanted/needed thank you...
