Most flee to Florida and bring their liberal politics with them. I know of several. I mentioned that maybe the reason that the taxes were so high in NY is that they voted Democrat and I got a look like I confessed to eating babies. They are just too stupid to make the connection. I lived in NYC in the 70s and the people there were the most arrogant self absorbed ninnies I’ve ever seen. They knew they were right about everything because they lived in “the city”. Not sure why living in a cesspit (Bronx for me) confers omniscience but they definitely looked down on the rest of the country. The one that lived in Manhattan were the worst.

I'm not. I'm in Illinois and while I'll never move to Florida, I just scratched Tennessee and Texas from my list. Those were my two top contenders. WERE being the operative term.
