My point was that the good doctor should have been more prudent in selecting a mate. 17 years is a large age difference in any case. The life outlook is just different from someone who is 55 vs. 38. That he's a dog, should have been evident when he decided to marry a 42 year old woman at age 25. Most guys at 25 are dating 18-28, not going Oedipus.
