Flynn Hearing Reveals Existence of Bombshell DOJ Memo Exonerating Michael Flynn

A bombshell revelation was barely noticed at National Security Advisor Michael Flynn’s hearing Tuesday, when his counsel revealed in court the existence of a Justice Department memo from Jan. 30, 2017 exonerating Flynn of any collusion with Russia. The memo, which has still not been made available to Flynn’s attorney Sidney Powell, is part of a litany of Brady material she is demanding from prosecutors. The memo is currently under protective order and Powell is working with prosecutors to get it disclosed, SaraACarter.com has learned.

U.S. District Court Judge Emmet G. Sullivan presided over the hearing Tuesday and set a tentative Dec. 18 sentencing date. He told the prosecution and defense that the sentencing date could be moved depending on the outcome of requests for Brady material requested by Powell and how the case will unfold in the upcoming months. Sullivan also noted during the hearing that the Brady order takes precedence over the plea agreement.

Powell will likely seek to have case dismissed for ‘egregious’ prosecutorial misconduct and withholding of exculpatory material.

“Judge Sullivan is obviously taking the Brady issues very seriously and clearly told the prosecutors that his Brady order stands regardless of the plea agreement or the plea,” Powell told SaraACarter.com. “If the prosecutors here were seeking justice instead of a conviction, General Flynn would not have been prosecuted. They have been hiding evidence that he was exonerated in early 2017.”

...

It looks like Comey, who would have been fully aware of this memo, has a lot of explaining to do.

I think that is why Starr was picked for the Kabuki Theater of the impeachment trial: The UniParty knew they could trust him to keep it to “just sex” and so keep their man in office.

Henry Hyde similarly shut down David Schippers the day after midterms in 1998. Schippers has lived in fear of Hillary Clinton ever since.

Comey should be in prison but he seems pretty care free. Remember the clipper chip and carnivore boxes the FBI developed. I wonder if he and Brennan have the dirt on everyone

The DOJ is proving that they do not believe in “justice.” The DO needs to be seriously reorganized and most of its senior management staff fired for either not being ethical or for not calling out those who were.

If I understood what I read earlier on it, he was convicted right before Election Day. Could be Pyrrhic on the part of the judge or it could be a textbook example of election interference, this time perpetrated by DOJ attorney’s and the timing of the trial.

Part of me is wondering if Flynn wasn't a Democrat/GOP-E mole in the Trump campaign from the start.

It's been almost TWO YEARS since he pleaded guilty in this case, and the judge may still delay sentencing even further.

I've pretty much given up on getting the full story about Flynn. In all honesty, he's come across as a moron the longer this has dragged on.

For the first two years of Trump's term in office your average Freeper did more to defend Flynn than Flynn did to defend himself.

Go figure.

Not only will Flynn walk, he will be compensated.

The guy is no fool and he was coordinating with Trump's legal team

What is going on in the Flynn case and the timing of it seems strategic enough to not be a coincidence so pretty sure Flynn's legal team knows very well what damaging Brady info exists and exactly where to find it.

More importantly, everyone involved, especially Judge Sullivan, is aware of this and they all know for certain it's coming out one way another - it's just a matter of time.

Remember the old Watergate mantra -in Washington it's not the crime, it's the cover up that kills you.

Flynn is about to prove that one big time. and the fallout from the Flynn case is going to change the dynamics for the entire Russia coup attempt.

And unlike Watergate, the stuff that's about to hit the fan is no third rate burglary, it's the tip of the iceberg on the biggest and most criminal abuses of power our country has ever seen. What is coming will shock the conscience of all but the hardest core Leftist. And even the hard core leftists will be shocked and pissed off at the incompetence of those involved because of the paper trail they left behind

Unfortunate Trump does not have authority over the DOJ, and cannot just pick up the phone and order the release of documents.

Why can’t Trump release the documents with a phone call or a computer click?

He is the Chief Executive Officer of DOJ and FBI.

He can declassify and publicly release any document in the Executive Branch of government - any time he wants to.

“Still he’s broke. They got him.”

I’m not a lawyer, but it seems there are avenues in the law available for him to be made whole — and then some. If there are, Howell will fix the problem. He’ll get them in the end (I hope).

“Mueller and Weissman.”

And Sidney Powell is an expert on Weissman. She knows how he operates after writing “Licensed To Lie”.

Re: The Sessions Recusal

I blame Trump.

Trump should have fired Sessions 15 seconds after he recused.

Trump also knew that Rod Rosenstein was Obama’s go-to U.S. Attorney for 8 freaking years.

So, what did Trump do?

Trump nominated Rosenstein for Deputy AG and let him pick Mueller as Special Prosecutor.

“average Freeper did more to defend Flynn than Flynn did to defend himself.”

I think we’ll never know the level of threats DOJ, etc., were holding over Flynn refarding harm to his family. No different than how the mafia would operate. Most likely reason for Flynn’s failure to speak up and defend himself.

“I wonder if he can sue for damages. Yeah, I know, ya can’t sue the government,”

It would be cool if Powell would sue the perps personally. That might skirt around the government “sovereign immunity” issue. I would love to see these people ruined financially. See how they like it.
