Grand Jury proceedings are by law secret per Federal Rule of Criminal Procedure 6(e).
Is it ethical for Michael Bromwich, an attorney admitted to the bar and an officer of the court, to be trafficking in purported grand jury leaks?
I think letters between attorneys are exempted, at least in part they are considered at attempt to settle the case out of court. Even assuming “heard rumors from reporters” constitutes some kind of leak which I would doubt.
