Indeed, why not? Beto Bazookas would be hot sellers. With him and other woke wannabe tyrants on the loose, we’ll need all the firepower we can get.

A bazooka? Do they still exist? Personally, I think I should have my own personal Warthog. I’ll pay for the pilot.

I agree. Why CAN’T we have bazookas. Maybe with those, we could actually fight city hall after all.

Hot dang! Beta’s gonna join the NRA! I don’t necessarily want the latest and greatest, a couple dozen RPG’s will do nicely to lighten up those 4th of July parties.

He is just making acid comments trying to get people to make comments for which the authorities can red-flag them. He will never be held liable for his comments. I’m not playing.

Why not, i was trained briefly on how to use one. Bounce an inert rocket off the tank, so aim is good.

Doubt I can afford the ammo thought, My 105mm howitzer eats up my budget.

Uh, 'cause they don't make bazookas any more? Where would a person get one?

Besides, they're crew-serviced. Could you imagine what would happen if one hollered "LOAD!!" at one's wife?

This is what's known in logic as an argumentum ad absurdum -- an "argument" to the point of absurdity.

The funny thing is, the only thing that's absurd is the idiot asking the question. Because if he knew squat about the Constitution, he'd know there is NO reason you can't own a bazooka. At least not any LEGAL reason.

Why not a bazooka, why not machine guns? Because we have let the government grossly violate the 2nd amendment with passage of the NFA and the GCA. With beto’s help we might just inform enough people to get that changed. What’s even worse for beto’s side is the fact that while the American people have the constitutional right to own machine guns and military weapons federal agents DO NOT. The government is allowed to establish the military but NOT an army of non military federal agents. Its way past time we disarm these unconstitutional federal agencies. Police power rests solely with the states.

The converse of this "argument" is, if you can ban bazookas, why can't you ban AR-15s? And if you can ban AR-15s, why can't you ban .22s? And if you can ban .22s, why can't you ban BB guns? Or bows and arrows? Or pointed sticks? Or heavy blunt objects?

See how fallacy works, Beto?

You can. I personally know a class III dealer and military collector who owns 2 or 3 tanks, fully functional. Fully functional as in even the main gun works, and since he owns his own machine shop, he's got rounds for them. Admittedly not a lot, but everything he has works.

As to why I don't pursue having a bazooka, it's obvious and practical - in that having one would be completely impractical as a personal or home defense weapon. My AR-15 is a perfectly reasonable home defense weapon, and I can afford to maintain it and shoot it often enough to maintain nominal proficiency with it.

As far as I know, it’s perfectly legal to own a bazooka. It’s basically no different than a length of sewer pipe without the rounds. The rounds, though, unless perhaps if they’re non-explosive dummy rounds, are destructive devices and you’d have to pay the NFA tax on EACH ONE.

It’s also legal to own a tank. There are a good number of collectors out there. Rounds for the gun would require the NFA tax stamp for each one.

The Constitution includes the “Letters of Marque” clause precisely because the Founders expected some citizens to own battleships, and to - with Congress’s approval - engage in private wars with them

You can own a bazooka. Do the paperwork, pay the tax, go ahead and buy/make one.

I want a bazooka AND a tank.

But I'll settle for a box of Panzerfausts and a halftrack with a quad-fifty mount.
