Three Democratic Committee Chairman – Elijah Cummings of the House Oversight Committee; Adam Schiff of the House Intelligence Committee; and Eliot Engel of the House Foreign Affairs Committee – came together on Friday to issue a subpoena against the White House as part of the House's impeachment inquiry. The Committees sent a letter to Acting Chief of Staff John Mulvaney, demanding documents be provided by October 18th.
"The Committees are investigating the extent to which President Trump jeopardized national security by pressing Ukraine to interfere with our 2020 election and by withholding security assistance provided by Congress to help Ukraine counter Russian aggression, as well as any efforts to cover up these matters," the letter reads.
According to the Committee leaders, the "White House has refused to engage with – or even respond to – multiple requests for documents from our Committees on a voluntary basis," something they say constitutes "stonewalling."
President Trump made it known he would not cooperate with an impeachment inquiry unless the full House of Representatives voted on moving forward with the process.

This should be an interesting month. The left is howling an awful lot at this point, and I still believe it is all a smoke screen to distract from upcoming “bad news” for the dems.
If I am understanding things correctly, since there has been NO actual vote on having Impeachment proceedings, those “subpoenas” are entirely meaningless. Those Swamp Rats can issue those things until they are blue in the face and it doesn’t mean squat.
Ignore all subpoenas from he communists Democrats.

Didn’t the pubbies (when they held the majority) issue a bunch of subpoenas that were completely ignored?
I think not only should these subpoenas be ignored, but some legal action should be taken against those falsely issuing them.

Those subpoenas are unenforceable and invalid because they haven’t come from a proper congressional investigation, resulting from a vote of the entire body.

Democrats got Sarah Palin to resign by filing over 200 lawsuits against her and the state. She resigned because the state could no longer afford to hire legal counsel to take all the court cases. once she resigned, they withdrew all the lawsuits

A “letter” is not a subpoena. The House committee must vote to issue a subpoena.

I thought most of them were gone for a couple of weeks. Autumn break or something. Or out getting donors lined up for next year. CONgress. Making millionaires out of dumbasses for decades.
That was my understanding. This is all hot air. They want to issue subpoenas...formally initiate an impeachment hearing.
Otherwise, they should all go pound sand.
