•Smith, 55, said that he was looking forward to spending more time with his partner Giovanni Graziano, 31, and their dog Lucia
•Multiple sources told DailyMail.com that Smith’s departure was a complete surprise to employees at the network and he was escorted out
•A spokesperson later told DailyMail.com that Smith left with his own security detail as is standard protocol for all talent at the network
•Graziano, who was an assistant on Smith’s show before moving over to Varney & Co. on the Fox Business Network in 2012, also deleted his Linked In profile
