Wall Street Is Worried About Elizabeth Warren
Barrons ^ | Sept. 20, 2019 | Randall W. Forsyth

They won’t open the stock market if Elizabeth Warren is the next president,” Leon Cooperman declared rather hyperbolically at a CNBC event Thursday. Later on television, the billionaire investor backed off a bit, but added that if Sen. Warren (D., Mass.) or her main rival on the left for the Democratic nomination, Sen. Bernie Sanders (Ind., Vt.), were to win next year’s election, a bear market lasting a year and knocking stock prices down 25% would likely follow.

FTA: "A Republican Senate would likely block many of Warren’s initiatives, Valliere says. 'But as Donald Trump has proved, a president has vast regulatory powers, and Warren surely would use them against the banking and brokerage industries.' he adds."

IMHO, Warren, if she gets the nomination, will be easy to beat. Wall Street money will go against her.

If she were to win, then a bear market would surely occur.

Wall Street owns Congress. I doubt they are all that worried about Warren.

She is going to ban fracking on Day 1 of her administration. I want her to describe that in detail during her campaign. Being energy independent is real nice when the crazies act up the Mideast.

In 1963 there was entered into the Congressional record communism's goals for America. Among those goals was to capture one, or both, our political parties.

They succeeded. Every single one of these RAT candidates is communist. And they get more blatant with every election cycle.

And why do Americans not see this? Because another of the stated goals of communism for America was to capture the public schools and use them as points of propaganda for communism. They succeeded there, as well.

But, why does not the news media expose this? Because another stated goal of communism for America was to capture the news outlets and install communists as broadcasters.

Today, it seems patriots are in the minority, and shrinking in number by the hour.

True. However, most 401Ks are not capable of selling short. Warren would devastate the economy.

Thanks for the compliment. Fifty years ago America seemed to be a Norman Rockwell painting. Today we are a bizarre, monstrous abstract sculpture.

I wonder what we'll be in another fifty years.

I used to eschew "apocalyptic" type movies because they were too fantastic. Now, I wonder..

I’m not going to shed a tear for them.

They’ve been playing footsie with Democrats for decades.
They should have known that the day would eventually come when the tiger would eat them.

The truth is, our tax situation is much worse under Trump.
I read all the stories about the booming economy but everyone I know makes as much or less now than we did 10 years ago, and now taxes are higher and we can’t write anything off.
Dems will make things worse, but I’d like to know WHO WILL CUT TAXES for middle class Americans???
