An ethics watchdog has filed a complaint with the IRS accusing Rep. Elijah Cummings’ wife, Maya Rockeymoore, of potentially using a charity to derive “illegal private benefit” for the couple, according to the Washington Examiner.
Rockeymoore operates two organizations; a nonprofit called the Center for Global Policy Solutions (CGPS), and a for-profit consulting firm called Global Policy Solutions, LLC. (GPS) According to a Monday filing by the watchdog group, National Legal and Policy Center (NPLC), the two entities have overlapping operations, and may have been used for “illegal private benefit.”
According to the report, CGPS and GPS “have mutual clients, donors and projects, and were located at the same address and share a phone number.”

Last night we watched the NetFlix presentation “The Laundramat”. It is a sort of expose describing a very large host of corporate schemes operating mostly off shore to avoid taxes and to pilfer money with no accountability.
Although Merril Streep was the heroine, the program was outlining the sort of scheme hidden amongst various corporations described by this thread. She was exposing precisely the Clinton Foundation use of many small shell corporations to obfuscate the money trail and the extent of the Clinton Shadow government.
Then in the end.....well I won’t tell you what she concludes but after all that, she missed the political point.
I highly recommend watching the Laundramat because the points raised while somewhat exagerated are true.

The IRS has a reputation for not fooling around when folks break the law. This will be a good chance to see how they treat a Black person who is also a Democrat.

Maybe the “investigation” resumes after the funeral but before the election.

It’s a known trick to authorities that the names are similar to escape a close look at fraud...checks can be cashed drawn to either name and it can be just a “ooopsie.”
Seems everyone knows it but the fraudsters and why not because they do get away with it.
Exactly, Plus, she's immune from investigation and prosecution for several reasons. She's running for office, and she is a member of two protected classes in addition to that.
The cherry on top is that she's a grieving widow, so don't so much as give her a side eye.
