The proposed resolution, a copy of which is linked in the article, basically tells Pelosi that, if she does not run the pre-impeachment inquiry with the full due process protections given to Clinton, the Senate’s likely to dismiss any articles of impeachment for failure of due process without even considering them on the merits. It also forces Pelosi to defend the current lynching, thereby blunting all the prejudicial leaks.
