House Republican Conference Chairwoman Liz Cheney (Wyo.) condemned attacks on Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, a witness called to testify as part of the impeachment inquiry, blasting those who have questioned his patriotism on Tuesday.

Cheney, the No. 3 Republican in the lower chamber, did not spell out who she was criticizing for attacks on Vindman, but her remarks followed a critical tweet by President Trump.

the Lt. Col is a spy for Ukraine and was acting on his concern for Ukraine’s interests NOT the interests of the United States. If he disagreed, he could have resigned or asked for reassignment. He is actively sabotaging the President’s policies where the President has Constitutional authority. The Lt. Col. is therefore Un-Patriotic and his actions would fall under espionage for a foreign country. Not particularly patriotic unless his loyalties lie with his native Ukraine.

Yup - just another globalist keeping the US entangled where it usually has no business or it’s a craphole that has always been that way, no matter the amount of $$$ and blood applied.

Am I wrong or hasn’t military spending been good for the Cheney family?

Oh stop virtue signaling to protect every offensive critic of the president. The guy’s an obvious trouble making never Trumper.

The wonderful lieutenant colonel is entitled to his opinion but he is not entitled to try and remove the President of the United States over it.

If one reads his opening statement, the analysis is just wrong and partisan.

Gosh, even when not directly questioned, why do Republicans feel the need to answer for one another’s tiniest (even merely perceived) infractions? Look at so many of the wildly unfounded, asinine statements made by democrats that just fly by in the breeze.

On Fox News, last night, Bongino and Rivera got into it over Vindman’s service. Rivera didn’t agree with the testimony, but thought Vindman should be given a “pass” due to his past service record. Bongino would have nothing of it.

A later segment featured Fox legal beagles. They pointed out that Vindman put himself at risk with the way he handled the situation. He was sharing classified information gathered at the White House with unauthorized people at the CIA. The beagles said he might have opened himself up to charges of espionage. Remember Schiff cut off questioning from the House Republicans about who Vindman talked to at CIA.

The general spin at Fox last night was that people testifying in front of the committee were complaining about President Trump’s policies as if the departments who report to Trump can set policy rather than follow the President’s lead. The Deep State is full of people who believe that they are running things and become alarmed when a president acts without their input and direction.

The man is a decorated war hero... He can’t be criticized... Then again... Hitler and Mao were decorated war heros.. How’d that work out for their countries?

His critics aren’t pointing out his deficiency’s as a military man... Their criticizing his personal opinion being tainted by his loyalty to Ukraine... And who is he to opine that Trump or any president isn’t doing their jobs as President?

When was the last time that Liz Cheney spent a full winter in Casper, Wyoming?

She’s a DC-swamp critter.
