The question is: Toward doing what, exactly? Does she even know?

It seems doubtful. As happens every couple of years, the erstwhile first daughter re-injects herself into the public eye, only to perseverate about what to do with her life.

Exactly what I was thinking. Between the parents and what had to be a weird childhood totally divorced from American reality, she never stood a chance.

I’ve always felt sorry for Chelsea. Any teenaged girl reading about her father’s sexual indiscretions in the papers and seeing it all over tv is going to be messed up. I’m saying this without sarcasm. That had to be awkward growing up like that.
