House impeachment investigators released the final closed-door deposition transcripts from the impeachment inquiry on Tuesday with the interviews of State Department official Philip Reeker and Office of Management and Budget official Mark Sandy. Sandy is a career official at OMB who was part of the freezing of the $400 million in US security aid to Ukraine, before the process was taken over by a political appointee to sign the documents delaying the aid. Reeker testified last month that he did not know about the push for Ukraine to announce investigations into President Donald Trump's political rivals, and that top officials under Secretary of State Mike Pompeo had blocked an effort to release a statement of support for ousted US Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch.

So what! Aid is held up everyday, somewhere because a country isn't living up to agreements.

Furthermore, why is our tax money just given away willie-nilley to these countries who keep stabbing us in the back?

CNN is having orgasms over this, as usual.

“CNN is having orgasms over this, as usual.”

Good for them. They’ve probably had more orgasms than Taylor Swift had in high school (and that’s a LOT, since she’s come out as a Leftist).

But the bottom line is that OUR SIDE has our own sources and we’re still waiting for OUR SOURCES to tell us Trump is corrupt...which they won’t, because he ain’t.

....top officials .... had blocked an effort to release a statement of support for ousted US Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch.

I read this as saying that people who were not top officials (career beauracrats, aka The Deep State) attempted to "officially" express support for someone the boss wanted gone, which would have been a public embarrassment.

It really doesn’t take much to get CNN squirting all over itself.

CNN - White House officials -- including acting chief of staff Mick Mulvaney -- have said that one of the key reasons US security assistance to Ukraine was held up in July was because other countries in Europe were not providing enough assistance to Kiev. But Mark Sandy, a career Office of Management and Budget official, testified that the White House didn't ask for information about what other countries were contributing until months after the hold was in place, according to a transcript of his closed-door deposition released by House Democrats on Tuesday.

The White House did not ask its budget office for information about other countries contributing aid to Ukraine until September, according to the testimony of a career budget official, undercutting one of the arguments for freezing $400 million in security aid to Ukraine.

But it doesn't matter that the email came in September because Trump brought it up on the call with Zelensky in July, months before the email.

The existence of this "email" doesn't undercut anything. I swear some of these journalists are ignorant.

They are stupid as hell. Trump says in the transcript “I will say that we do a lot for Ukraine. We spend a lot of effort and a lot of time. Much more than the European countries are doing and they should be helping you more than they are. Germany does almost nothing for you.”

They are just ignorant, or spinning something that is untrue and immaterial. It doesn’t matter what the OMB did or said in September. POTUS Trump said it in July. That means he had to have known about it from OMB or other sources before the call was made.

Pretty soon, we’ll be getting around to fifth-hand testimony. THAT will be Trump’s undoing.
