She blew it alright literally, it’s how she advanced to the US Senate
The candidate is a terrible candidate - not very likable, not very relatable to a majority of people.
The campaign is based on unpopular ideas - sure they may be popular with the candidate, friends, and associates. But the campaign failed to realize it existed in it's own echo chamber.
The candidate and the campaign were both easily forgettable in an over-crowded field.
There, that about sums it up. Maybe the short version is: doomed from the start.

Kamala Harris’s campaign never unraveled.
Faked polls were presented to the public together with statements from a tiny band of supporters.
But she never drew much of a crowd even in California and drew virtually no crowd outside of California.
Willie Brown’s Mistress was never going to play anywhere outside of California and New York anyway and as no money outside of what those who launched her campaign came in to keep her afloat the pollster’s now have to show her descending so their asses are covered when she drops out.

It’s impossible to “screw your way to the top”. #2 is the best you can do.

Being a Mattressback has it’s advantages.
Her real talent was she could suck a golf ball through a paper straw ... without tearing the straw. That talent will carry you far in local politics - but you have to be able to rub more than 4 brain cells together, at any given time, to make a splash in national politics.
You certainly can’t use your ‘special’ talents on an entire country of men .... not enought time available.
Ms. Harris’s remark to the audience about Tulsi Gabbard: “Gabbard has spent the last two years smearing Obama.....” I didn’t know HBO was running.....Harris has spent the last two years smearing her sitting President Trump. “...Bring on the clowns”
1.) Her sister is in charge, probably more because she's family, than because she knows what she's going, and
2.) No one really knows what Harris stands for. Chances are, it's because what Harris stands for is Getting Elected, and that's about it. She's ambitious, but she has no underlying convictions.
It's never hurt Michelle Obama.
My guess is that she unraveled because the "black community" got wind that she made a career out of arresting blacks and actually got some degree of pleasure out of it it seems.
She is very uptight and white presenting. If she'd gone on Ellen and did something like this, it may have resonated.
Hillary Clinton without the warmth and likability.
She's trying way too hard to come across as a "regular person." Other politicians like Elizabeth Warren, Mitt Romney, John Kerry, Jeb Bush and Hillary have the same issue. They come across as stiffs every time they try that "everyman" routine.
Ironically, politicians that DO come across as genuine people without having to fake it (i.e. Donald Trump, Ronald Reagan) are HATED by the elites.
The Slimes doesn’t want her to take this defeat lying down.
Why does it always seem to take 3-4 people for the NYT to write their silly little articles?
