President Trump blasted FBI Director Christopher Wray on Tuesday morning over his response to the Justice Department inspector generals report on the origins of the FBIs Russia investigation and use of Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrants to monitor former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.
The IG report found that while there were a significant number of concerns regarding the FBIs practices in obtaining the FISA warrant and other aspects of the probe, there was no evidence of political bias or impropriety regarding their motives in the investigation. Wray has accepted these findings, but Trump signaled Tuesday he doesnt think Wray is taking the concerns seriously enough.
I dont know what report current Director of the FBI Christopher Wray was reading, but it sure wasnt the one given to me. With that kind of attitude, he will never be able to fix the FBI, which is badly broken despite having some of the greatest men & women working there! he tweeted. [ ]
When asked if he had any evidence that the FBI unfairly targeted Trumps campaign, Wray said, I dont, and appeared to take offense to the notion that the FBI is part of a deep state.
I think thats the kind of label that is a disservice to the 37,000 men and women who work at the FBI who I think tackle their jobs with professionalism, with rigor, with objectivity, with courage
so thats not a term I would ever use to describe our workforce and I think its an affront to them, he said.

You picked him.
IF Wray had any integrity, he’d offer his resignation because he’s obviously lost the confidence of the President. Of course, he’ll cling to his position tighter than a tick ... for him to go, Trump will have to outright fire him (and the DemonRats will jump all over him for it).
President Trump. Please fire this guy. The guy is not worth any trust.
“With that kind of attitude, he will never be able to fix the FBI, ..”
Correct Mr. President. And that goes for the entire Deep State.
In your 2nd Term, you’re going have to make major large scale firings of gov workers a major focus.
Drain the Swamp.
Wray is part of the problem. Shouldn’t have ever been made director and definitely shouldn’t be allowed to continue.
Fire him.
Obama holdovers - Wray and Atkinson should be fired..
Wray isn’t going to be around long. He’s served his purpose.
Trump will appoint Joe DiGenova in his 2nd term
Then get rid of the corrupt piece of sh!t, Mr. Trump.
Yes, Trump picked him, however, I think he relies on others to guide him as Trump did not have the necessary experience at the time of the hire. As a result, and in a lot of these cases, it just does not work out. Trump has gotten better at his picks (Pompeo) but it has been a tough.
Picked who?
Bob Barr(again). All those that are dirty can take themselves off the payroll right after Trumps reelection. Dec. 31 deadline. Those that stay will have to lawyer up. Make them fight to stay. Then there’s the good ones who are unnecessary. Make them US Marshalls. Fear is a great motivator.
At this point an angry Tweet does about as much as a bogus, two year report. Wray never should have been appointed, but today would be a great day to fire him.
I think thats the kind of label that is a disservice to the 37,000 men and women who work at the FBI who I think tackle their jobs with professionalism, with rigor, with objectivity, with courage so thats not a term I would ever use to describe our workforce and I think its an affront to them, he said.
Were not talking about them Mr. Wray, we are talking about your level of integrity where the problem seems to be.
You picked him.
Trump picked Ratcliffe. How did that go?
Mark the FBI down as yet another institution which exhibits gross abuse of power while accusing the President of abuse of power.
