The biggest political anti-Semitic threat to American Jews is Al Sharpton and his National Action Network. Just look at the Democrat politicians who have publicly kissed his ass from the NAN conference stages over the years. All the Democrat leaders were there including many of their 2020 presidential candidates.
Take out Sharpton legally and a lot of anti-Semitism will disappear like a fart in the wind.
They are fully secular and anti religious jews. It is a bit strange but it is what it is.
These secular hellenist like jews , like the greeks, happen to serve socialism whereas every other ethnic or identity groups use socialism to serve their own nationalist interests. The result is invariably these brown shirt leftists motivating the attack on jews, highjacking the Cain vs Abel rhetoric that since not everyone can be rich, no one should be rich, no one should be loved, starting with the jews getting the hate and self hate.

In contrast to Islam which is a religion, race, nationality (the Umma) and anything else they feel like. As the Turkish leader Erdogan said it "the mosques are our barracks", so Islam is also an invasion force.
Just as countries in the Westphalia Era have the concept of Most Favored Nation, so religions in the modern era should have the concept of Most Favored Religion. Judaism and Christianity should be afforded as many rights as the Most Favored theology in any particular country.

There was no juxtaposition greater concerning the dynamic you describe than last nights ( Wed.11 Dec.) televised ceremony of a Hanuka celebration and an executive order signed by the president that made anti-semitic acts a violation of The Civil Rights Act of 1984. This can act to decrease federal funding to Universities and Colleges that allow anti-semitism to manifest on their campuses.
But look to the stage of the Jewish people there with our president and there was not even ONE democrat Jew there, NOT ONE BOLSHEVIK. This proves one thing....they are not in the class of Jewish people who are not socialist radicals. And they really could care less about traditional Judaism.
