The past 24 hours provided a clear and painful picture of the momentous challenges American Jews face these days.
The day began with news that President Trump has issued an executive order designed, the White House said, to fight anti-Semitism. Reporting on the order, The New York Times stressed that it will “effectively interpret Judaism as a race or nationality, not just a religion,” and that it “could be used to stifle free speech and legitimate opposition to Israel’s policies toward Palestinians in the name of fighting anti-Semitism.” Leftist NGOs echoed the same talking point, and a phalanx of pundits took to Twitter to decry the order as anti-Semitic because, allegedly, it somehow paved the road to defining Jews as something less than fully American. From the Hollywood actress who thundered “You, stupid crook president do not get to decide this so your white nationalist pals get to stick me in a concentration camp” to the law professor who blasted the order for deeming Jews to be “some nationality other than Americans,” our bien pensants were whipping everyone into a wild frenzy, portraying the president as an unhinged anti-Semite and a clear and present danger to the Jews.
And then something else happened.
As Twitter was aflame with vitriol directed at the president, gunmen shot up a kosher market in Jersey City, killing three—including two Jews. Those of us rushing to report on the attack were initially reassured by a host of sources, official and unofficial alike, that there was no larger story here: The shooting, we were told, was random—not a hate crime specifically targeting Jews. The early reports in the press echoed these sentiments, with most not even mentioning the fact that the crime scene was a Kosher establishment.

A great many people sounded the alarm many many decades ago that Leftists are Leftists FIRST and FOREMOST.
Anything else they claim; Catholicism, Protestant, Judaism, etc...is a distant second to their Liberalism and, mostly used as Chaff to obscure from the hypocrisy of their liberal positions when juxtaposed against the teachings of their “supposed faith”.
Most recent example is, Pelosi’s claim to her Catholicism with regards to accusations of her HATE for Trump. Yet, her self proclaimed Catholicism does not matter a whit when it comes to the Catholic Faith’s opposition to killing babies in the mothers womb.
From the end of the article, “What American Jews need right now is clear and concrete action that protects them from anyone who wishes them harm.” Concealed carry classes? Range time? Allow them to equip themselves to protect themselves - which may require some of them to change their mindset. Unfortunately, a lot of them live in NYC so their choices are limited...
I many times wonder if leftists Jews are the victims of genetic in-breeding. Or if leftist Jews are plugged into a mindset that goes back to the days of FDR and the trappings of the New Deal. George Soros is genetically Jewish. In terms of religion, Soros may be an Atheist. At the moment Soros and his various organizations may be the leader and leaders of the current leftist continuum. My only guess is that leftist Jews want a world wide Totalitarian socialist dictatorship. Is there any part of the Mainstream Jewish Religion that advocates for a socialist dictatorship.? I am puzzled by the leftist Jews. When I try to employ logic towards the situation, I don’t seem to get logical answers.

Typical of the Nazi NY Times to oppose something that just might possibly help protect innocent Jewish victims of violence and threats on college campuses. Just like how the paper basically covered up the Nazi murder factories in Ww2. And how it editorially slants against Jewish survival or defense and rights in the Jewish homeland. Everything at that loser of a paper seems to have to be hard core leftist ideology ( and USA and Israel and Christians and Jews are it’s targets or at least obstacles it seems to overcome

Posting a reply to my own question...If the leftist view of the human race is slaves and slave masters, then the leftist are wanting to be the masters. And conversely, every one will be required to submit to the slave masters. Hitler the socialist greatly admired the Moslems. Socialism demands submission. Islam demands submission. A future of Submission to socialist government with a Moslem army to enforce the rules of the citizens. And in China, a submission to the government socialist agenda with the Moslems not in charge.
Just consider the crowd pushing impeachment, both those like Schiff and those who testify, then consider what prominent Jews or Jewish groups have come out to defend Trump and point out what a fraud the impeachment circus is.

Referring to Jews as a race doesn’t diminish their status as American citizens at all. And if it helps protect them more, that’s great.
