Ghislaine Maxwell — the British socialite who’s long been accused of serving as Jeffrey Epstein’s madam — is under investigation by the FBI, according to a new report Friday.
Several other “people who facilitated” the dead pedophile’s alleged sexual abuse are also being probed but Maxwell is the main focus, two sources familiar with the investigation told Reuters.
One of the sources said the probe is in its early stages and that the FBI is following up with leads its received from women who claim to have been victimized by Epstein.
The FBI currently has no plans to interview Prince Andrew, who’s been accused of having sex with one of Epstein’s most vocal accusers, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, the sources said.

Barr already went along with the cover-up by declaring Epstein’s death a suicide, so I don’t see how the DoJ/FBI direction is possibly changing here.

Wrong. Barr fired or reassigned up to a dozen people at MCCC and is still conducting an active investigation there.
Barr can’t say with solid assurance that it wasn’t a suicide because the NYC Medical Examiner is the one that declared it a suicide. That’s what’s in the way of casting the manner of death as an open question.
