According to police, a suspect entered a synagogue known as Rabbi Rottenburg’s Shul, located in the Forshay neighborhood in Monsey, on Saturday and pulled out a machete, which he used to stab people. Two people were critically injured and three received minor injuries.

According to Vos Iz Neias, a black male entered the synagogue and pulled out a machete, then removed its cover and started stabbing people. The Orthodox Jews Public Affairs Council of the area posted on Twitter that five people were stabbed.

There is ZERO reason not to be armed when there is a credible threat to yourself, your family, your community, etc.
And anywhere the dems control, there is indeed a credible threat.

It depends on how it is marketed. A local agriculture store had some on sale last week, advertised as “Machetes”. One look at the photo showed me it was actually a modern made version of the Roman Gladius stabbing sword.
So I bought one.

Some brave congregants prevented more evil acts. I’d think most church services have trained gun carriers present. Our Baptist one does.
I do not understand why Jewish people are not armed. I know gun laws are strict in NY, but move. Protect your family and your community. My church has members who conceal carry to protect our members. Are Orthodox Jews pacifists? I honestly do not know.

Right. A very small congregation that uses a home basement for services. The rabbi is known as the Kossoner Rebbe.
