That’s odd...’cuz Iran has always been described by most as a part of the Middle East conglomerate of satanic muzzoids.
If you consider that the entire “Middle East” is on the Asian continent, then it should not be a surprise. Remember, the term middle east comes from the brits who considered Russia and the Balkans to be the near east, Iran and India Central Asia or middle east, and China and Japan to be the Orient to be the far east.
