Kurds are not needed when the USMC is in town.
They just become another group to protect.
Every service from AF TAC Air to SAC to Navy SEALS, who have no equal in recovering downed pilots behind enemy lines, to Force Recon, and Army and Marine Infantry have their roles. SF was trained in UW when I was in it. I had 100 Montagnards and 2 NCO’s, Then a 3rd. Those SF NCO’s taught me.
